Third place is humiliating, Germany lost badly, 2-0 to Italy. they still should be crying, instead of celebrating third place.
Well in 17 hours, Maybe zidane will be kissing the trophy. and the german fans will watch it, and cry. thats the storyyyyyyyy

It is not humiliating, but third place means nothing. Second place and last are the same. The only one that matters is first place, the one France will win tomorrow.

How is third place humiliating? It's pretty damn good to come in third, seeing as how many other teams there were to beat out. Getting the bronze is an honour and it's nothing to be ashamed about. So yeah, getting the bronze is pretty freakin' awesome.
I don't think Germany lost 'badly' to Italy at all. Just because the final score says 2-0 it doesn't mean that Germany sucked. Both teams played amazingly well and they were both goalless until the last minutes of extra time. In the end, Italy finally got lucky and had an opportunity to score, so they took it. Germany did not play worse and Italy did not play better.
LOL, why would the German fans cry if France win? Are you just hating on Germany 'cause your favourite team didn't make it this far? LOL
Anyways, congrats to Germany for taking third place!! =)

Excuse me but Germany played very well in the Italy game...one team has to win and not both and in this case it was Itlay...btw you can't say that Italy was better or anything because they hadn't scored a single goal till the last minute...and then they scored....and won. Germany played just as well as Italy did..but didn't get to score a goal. Don't say that Germany should be crying....they played extremely well and I am glad they won third place and not fourth. When France kicks Italy's ***...I'll come on here and talking **** about Italy...would you like that? I don't think so. Have some freakin respect...LEARN what a GREAT GAME IS....watch soccer/football without criticizing the teams because you sure as hell would never be able to play the way they do. Germany was an underdog and they got third place...I'd say they did extremely....EXTREMELY well in the World Cup games. Go cry about the fact that your life revolves so much around football that all you do is criticize other teams...as much a fan as I am towards Germany...I always give other teams credit if they deserve it...Italy played very well and they were a little better than Germany. Have you ever heard of good sportsmanship? Or maybe not being a sore loser. To come in third is a great accomplishment....many teams didn't make it this far...and funny though because Germany did. So why should they be ashamed about it? Notice how all the people here say third place is a great accomplishment? That's because it is. I myself play sports and I know to get third place is great but I would love to get first...and if I can't then second or third is just as great. Congrats to Germany for being a great team and proving that young players are just as good as the more experienced players. By the way ....I'm from the United States...an American...so don't say I'm a German fan defending Germany because I'm from there. I'm from America...and from what I remember...oh yeah that's right America lost badly..not Germany.

Germany should be proud, they played AMAZING and with all their heart. It's not their fault that Italy got lucky in the last 2 minutes. germany would have killed them in pks. and personally i think all of the other countries that didn't make it as far as germany would be very pleased to be in their shoes at the moment. the germans are happy with the representation their football team has shown for their country....so that may be the story, but just wait for the next tournament we'll see what happens, germany has a GREAT team just waiting to be developed and they will probably be a international football powerhouse in the very near future...and guess what...? zidane is not going to be playing anymore so he can kiss his cup all he wants :) good luck france !

tHEY ARE MY GREAT HEROES, THE'VE done their best on Italy. Just tell the Italians to stop that diving.
Remember: German fans are always happy. We're the best: Won 3 times, to semifinal 10 times, etc...

Yea Germany is possibly going to win yet i fairly imagine that both communities' morale is really low because that they are merely scuffling with for somewhat of the cake and not in any respect the completed cake. badly? u cant say that if u didnt watch it. it had been going on for like 118 mins and then italy scored their first goal. the first one of the game then another the next min cuz germany had all their guys up the field on offence to tie it up. they only had like 2 mins to tie it before the overtime ended.
