The two best times of the day to study are shortly after you wake up and right before you go to bed. In the morning, after coffee, shower, breakfast, or whatever else, you're refreshed and energized, ready to focus. Also, there has been quite a bit of research that shows if you study right before you go to bed, your subsconscious mind will continue to "work on" the material during the night. And if it's the right kind of material, it'll help put you to sleep too! :-)
As an added bonus, "cramming" right before a test is not a bad thing at all as long as you've done other substantial studying beforehand. Your memory is always at its strongest when recalling items from the last few hours, especially if you're drawing upon things you had already stored in your long term memory.

Usually early evening, like right when I get in bed. Sometimes maybe a few hours after I get out of school. It differs depending on what I'm doing that night..but now it's summer so yay!

Best time is in the evening before you go to bed. That's how I do it. You tend to remember more in the morning. This is medically proven. All in all, though, this doesn't mean you should cram...
