Route 66 is an actual Federal Route from one side of New Mexico through to California - it probably starts in Texas, but I know that it runs through New Mexico because I used to drive on it when I lived there. Also it was a TV series, a very old one, long before you were even a thought in your parents minds.

I do know that part of route 666 is near Dresden Ohio. I've heard its very curvy and a lot of accidents happen on it. People are just careless and drive too fast.
