I can think of lots of reasons why Marilyn Manson was NOT the cause of it. What do you think?

Columbine was caused by mental instability and poor parenting and nothing else.

No, he was not the cause. Society tried to put the blame on someone and they used him because of the way he is. Those kids had a mind of their own. If anything, I blame the parents. Where were they when these kids were getting guns and had such easy access to them. Everyone in the school noticed something different about the boys, but the parents never did You would think the parents would have noticed a few things and tried to solve the problem before it erupted.

I highly doubt he was the cause, investigators have found that one of the boys carried signs of a psycho- path due to the writting in his diary (which included the plot for Columbine, origionally ment to be much worse) and the other was weak minded and easily influenced by the other

I think he is a very sick individual.
But the cause of Columbine was two kids who wanted to shoot people. They chose to do that, Manson didnt do anything to make them.

i dont think so; i think the kids that did that had bigger mental issues and marilyn manson couldnt have caused it. Maybe music like that and other things like violent video games could have conrtibuted, but i dont think they could have done that huge amount of damage.

I do not think he should at all be blamed. How many other groups are singing the way he is. Not to mention I firmly believe we all have our own minds. How can we possibly be convinced to do something to horrible because of music, movies, video games etc? I think all that stuff is just an east target and easy to blame.

I don't think he alone was the cause of it but many people, celebrities, etc. and the way the dress, the way they act, and the music they put out have definite impacts on kids who are vulnerable or having difficulties in their lives.

Anyone who can be motivated to murder people because of a song has much deeper issues to deal with. There are lots od "sick" songs out there and rarely does anyone act upon them. Those boys were just 100% pure evil. They needed no excuse to do what they did.

No I think it's bullshit blaming music for peoples choices. People act of their own violation and are responsible for themselves. I hate it when people are up in court or such and completely disrespected because the music they listen to isn't "normal". They're is no such thing such as normal and I hate it when people get convicted, even with bad evidence just because of the music they listen to. It's a bunch of ****

Absolutely Not!!, i think it is parents not taking an active role in the lives of the children the created and the dang liberals for babying kids that when they do something wrong its not their fault.
Kids need to get a good beating if they do something wrong, it sure would make them think twice.
