you know i think love is different for everyone but theres this poem i know...what is love?.....
what is love?
is love a river,
that you can see and hear?
is love a thing,
that you can say or do?
or is love just an unconditional feeling?
love is a dream,a wish
a lifelong thing
when you find love
you cant forget it
and you know you cant live without it
but the person you love
may not love you
a wish you hope will come to you.
love at first sight,
is it real?
no one in the world
can tell you what love is,
though in the end most people feel
what its like to love
though only some will have a dream come true

Love is when you start to care about someone in more then just a friendly way. You smile when you think of them, and you find your self day-dreaming all the time. You feel very euphoric, nothing can bother you.You do things that you wouldn't Ordinarily do,like dressing different and acting nicer to others. When you fall in love you will know. You will start to change inside naturally. It's a wonder full feeling!!!

The Bible says a man should love his wife like Christ loved his church,
This means that if you love your wife their is nothing you would not do for her including the ultimate sacrifice- YOUR OWN LIFE TO PROTECT HER. I have a wonderful wife and there is nothing I would not do to try to make her happy, and praise the Lord, she reciprocates in the same manner. I am truly blessed and would hope that you someday may find that perfect mate that you can truly love.

here's a pessimistic view: love is nature's way of tricking humans into reproducing aka a trait that was evolved after many many years. after all, love is an emotion, which means it has to do with chemicals released in the brain—this proves it is actually very scientific...

Well, for me its when you feel all good and tingly all over your body. Painful and feels really good too, usually both at the same time. Its there to make folks feel connected so they pair up and make babies I think. I don't want to have babies, not sure I have any use for love either anymore.

There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and Validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.
