Essentially, space and time. There is no 'fabric' really.
Update: Some theories call say that our universe is a 'brane' in an other-dimensional space... but a brane is a brane, and can't be likend to anything we can comprehend.

We really have no way to tell.. and it's not like it's an actual substance. Do you mean what is the structure of the universe?
