I feel so short everywhere I go, I'm 5ft 4' Am I just over reacting??

Supposedly the average height is 5'3"

You sound just like my granddaughter! She is 5' 2" and she feels short too. Did you know that the average height of a woman in the USA is 5' 4" ? So, no, you are not too short!! Go figure, when I was growing up, I was 14 yrs. old and 5'7" and thought I was too tall. Don't worry so much, I am sure you are just fine the way you are. Good luck!

5' 4" is actually the average height for American women, so you're right in the middle of the pack - not too short and not too tall.

Your taking it to seriously. Thats not to tall at all. Some people are just freakishly tall.

well darling, i am 19 years old and have been short all my life. i am 4 ft. 11'. people think i am like 12 until i tell them i am 19. then they tell me that i am short (duh, i think i know that). So i think anyone under 5ft 2in is short. but it all depends on what you think. Short people Unite!!! :)

You are not short. I'm only 5' 5'' and my two best friends are 4'9'' and 5'1''. I don't think you're overreacting too bad tough.

I'm 5'4" so you arent' the only one. My mom is shorter than me, she's 5'0". I think you and I are averange.
