don't know what resume paper is but most people print resumes off their computers on computer paper

Absolutely! And when it comes to resume paper, there are certain colors that are "standard," like Ivory for instance. However, many employers I've spoken with don't really care about the paper so long as it's not something totally inappropriate.

Some employers have no problem with plain white typing paper if the resume is perfectly readable. The main thing is that your resume has to make the employer say "I want this person!"

Absolutley yes. For some people, the message is "only as good as the paper it's printed on." You don't know who will be looking at your resume. Likley, they'll be looking at a lot of them. Make yours stand out. I just graduated college, and all the seminars said it's a good idea to invest in $1 each sheet quality paper.....I got a job.

I'm currently using resume paper to assist my job searching, and after mailing and passing out these copys to 50+ employers I'm still jobless, I'm starting to run low on funds to so I'm going to have to switch back to usin regular paper.
