For the past 2 years, I have known that I wanted to pursue music education for a career. Now I have realized that teaching isn't something that I want to do with my life, but I still want music to be a factor in it. Does anyone know anything else that will be a worthwhile career that involves music? I am usually considered a good learner, and I recently received a 29 on my ACT. I just need help finding a musical career.

Learn all you can about music and music theory. Then learn to play an instrument, then another, and another, etc.

You will at some time want to write music. Do it, it's fun.
Who knows, you may be one our great composers some day, you or I won't know unless you try.
Writing hits is tough. Standup comedy is about the toughest above that.

Go to "International Songwriter's Association". You can receive monthly news letters by email. FREE. You can join, $9.95 quarterly. Lots of music news.
When you aren't able to play, you can teach, it may be the only thing you can take with you.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it. If you're young, girls love it.
