Ugh..just don't. I worked for Nextel for 2 years as a CSR. Worst 2 years of my life. Everyone I knew either quit or literally went mental and had to be removed from their position. Oh, and be prepared to move to Canada, Mexico or Pakistan, because almost all call center jobs are in those places now.

My mom works in US Airways Reservations and my dad works at Principal Financial Insurance in a call center. Dad is really happy. They have a really nice facility. Restaurants come in and cater them every week. Mom likes her job as well. Avis always bribes them with stuff so they ask "would you like to book your rental car as well?" There's a fair share of complainers though. I know Alltel has a call center here in Phoenix as well.

Hope this helps. Good luck

I worked at one of Wells Fargo's Call Centers. It was horrendous. I lasted for 3 months.

Go to the websites of banks, credit card companies, cell phone companies, or utilities. Look under Jobs or Careers and you will find the links there.

Those jobs are mind numbing.

apply for the job!

The unemployment office might help you but it's faster to just call the company and ask to be transferred to the right person. They will probably send you to human resources but you might be able to talk to someone if you're lucky. You can also show up at human resources with your resume and sometimes you can get an interview on the spot. Good luck
