Stealing someone work, like a story or song, and claiming it as your own.

It is when an individual uses someone else's words and puts them into their own work as if it were theirs.

For example, if I were to read a book and copied a section of the book into my term paper and did not give credit in quotations and a footnote to the author of that text, I would have just plagiarized their work.

It is when you use someone else's words (usually in research papers or essays) and you claim it as your own work. When you are using anything from a book, speech, web site, etc. you have to cite where you got the info. If you don't, that is plagiarism.

When you steal someone Else's ideas try to make them yours. When you read a book, you like it so you try to take items from the book. Add it to yours with out the research. That is Plagiarism.

Something like this:

Copying some one else's words

Stealing someone work, like a story or song, and claiming it as your own.

its when youre writing an article and steal one information from another article

Using others works like prose, poetry, novels and passing it off as your own. Some people copy parts from other novels or books and then change a few items like name or location and then pass it off as their own ideas.

Plagiarism is when you claim something, written by someone else, as your own.

It is basically taking something written by someone else and trying to pass it off as if you had written it. If the item has a copyright and the person that wrote that found out, they may take legal action. If also used in college and found out about, you have the risk of getting expelled.

Copying someone else's creative work without giving them proper credit or getting their permission. If you try to pass if off as something you did, then it's plagiarism.
