in short yes. in the long run maybe. you should get a windows system right for you. for example: i used a win95 for a long time, why you ask.. because it teaches you more than any other system how to work a computer, whats its internal workings, why is it having these problems. its a lot easier to figure out computers if you use a win95...but... if you want pretty colors and want user-friendly no problems happiness. use an winXP. after all, all the windows or any other operating system is is just pretty colored DOS (disc operating system)
it just looks pretty and uses a mouse.

Yes, you can use it but Microsoft will send you a message every day wanting you to buy the latest version of Windows from them. And if your copy is counterfeit they will really bug you, but you can still use it. Don't expect any tech support though.

you can but i wouldnt advise,not only is it a bad idea to do that but getting a second hand pc isnt too good of an idea either, if at all possible id save for a bit longer and get a new pc or at least a new copy of windows you really need this as sooner or later your gonna need it either way.
