first make sure all the fans are working. Then download adaware and spybot search and destroy and get rid of the spyware. There might be few reasons for your computer to freeze. I don't think Itunes has anything to do with this. You need to identify whether this is a software or hardware issue. Write down any error message or you can also go to the performance tool to see the error messages. It is very common that some hardware fails or doesn't perform 100% such as hard drives or video cards. Some computers come with a diagnosis cd that can be used to check the whole computer with all the bits and pieces.
Whatever you do you need to consider this anyway:
1.Ensure that all your critical updates are done.
2.Run an anti virus with current definitions
3.Get an anti Spy-ware software
good luck!

The PSU and pictures card seem so as...I quite doubt a 660TI will crash with the aid of guild wars. in case you overclocked it, which will be a situation. Random blue monitors take position even as aspects overheat. acquire a temperature visual demonstrate unit and log the temperature of your CPU, GPU and problematic force. CPU shouldn't in any respect bypass above 70 till overclocked. A extreme skill GPU is comparatively secure till it hits ninety, and HDD, nicely, i'm not positive, in simple terms make positive it isn't boiling. (all my temperatures are Farenheit)

Need more system info.
Most likely culprit, not enough ram, do you have 256mb of ram?
Ctrl+ALt+delete and go to performance, see how much ram is being used up, and how much you have left, when you start running aps, and it maxes out it uses the hard drive as virtual memory which is slow and causes it to crash.

If you bought this from dell or hp or one of those PC companies you should have a restore disk, or you might still be able to get it fixed under warranty.

Is it time for an update? I've had that problem when it was time to update my Norton Internet security and when it was time to update my operating system. Try Live Update or automatic update.

Do you have Windows ME? That was notorious for having memory leaks....try to get XP if that's the case.
If not, sorry, I'm not sure.
