The Princess Bride is good because it has elements of all sorts of movies - comedy, suspense, mystery, action, fantasy, romance, etc...
I also like The Private Eyes, a comedy starring Tim Conway and Don Knotts. They are a hilarious pair, and the murder mystery spoof is so funny.
The two movies I mentioned are also very quotable, which I think is a great quality in a movie. Who in this world DOESN'T know what you're referring to when you say "My name is Inigo Montoya. You kill my father. Prepare to die!"
And besides, in The Princess Bride, Cary Elwes is just HOT!

My husband & I love the original Pink Panther movies with Peter Sellers. We watch them over and over. We also like Chevy Chase in the first Vacation movie. Back to the Future is great too.
