Seriously consider this:
Burn your own CD (what it used to cost for me to buy studio time makes me cringe)... give it some decent packaging and sell it on eBay!
Not kidding - it works for me. Folks don't know my music from a hole in the wall, but proper placement and consistent visibility nabs a few sales from time to time... just be careful not to use keywords that other users will report you for ("sounds like such and such a band" etc)
