Very good player:
1. He got lots of trophy with MU
2. So many caps in national team
3. Got transfered to Real Madrid (the Galacticos) best player in the world is/was there; Zidane, figo, etc.
4. Captain of England. Only talented one can appointed Captain.
5. The best free kick in the world. You've seen one in the critical match in WC2006
6. He became celeb first because of his football skill, then face and wife

As far as I'm concerned, Beckham is a very talented player, but sometimes doesn't show all of it or the good majority of it in international play. His expertise is free kicks, where he can do his trademark bend shots that occasionaly find their way in the back of the net pending the curve, hence the catchphrase and movie "Bend it like Beckham".

He's an excellent player. Have you ever seen him curve the ball into the goal from a corner kick. He's got that one down.

He was considered very good at his wing position when he was young. Unfortunately he's old now and couldn't run up-n-down the field the 90 minutes . However, his crosses are still one of the best out there, they are so deadly accurate .

I think I would choose him for free kicks over, around and through opposing teams' walls. But in general, he seems to be a bit of a frail dude for a footballer.

hes an excellent soccer player...have you ever seen how he curves the ball? hes like the best crosser in the world and hes very good at free kicks...to me whenever he kicks the ball its like the whole world stop...its magic...and to me whenever he kicks it, its unstoppable. so overall hes a very talented player

As a soccer(football) player he suck big time.He is a best top modelamong footballers though. And I guess best footballer among top models.

i think he is an awesome footballer, he has a wicked right foot and he is something good to look at for the girls.
he is a good rolemodel for amny people.
