In the spring it is covered in small white flowers. Now it is getting little green beries on it and they will change to red. They are as hard as a rock. In the fall the berried will turn orange. It has small leaves. No one has been able to identify it, yet. Please help. Thanks

Good luck with your search for information.

It may be a red dogwood bush, if it's a bush.....they have white flowers in the spring, and then they get berries, and the leaves and stems turn red.
What state do you live in? Go to your state home page, and see if they have an area for local/native trees. Some states do.

If you have a local college, take a stem from the tree and contact them in regards to identifying it. Most colleges have a horticulturalist on staff.

You may have a crabapple, Hawthorn, or even a form of Viburnum. Without better description as to size of tree, shape of leaves and bark characteristics, it is hard to tell.
I suggest a close up set of photos be brought to your local plant nursery as they could likely tell you.

It is possible that it is a hawthorn. Does it have thorns?
