Women can put on mascara with their mouths closed. It's a proven fact.
The meaning of the word abbreviated is what matters so who cares how long it is. It is also a word that can be abbreviated. It would make no since if they used a word that itself could not be abbreviated. So since it can be abbr. it is a perfect candidate to be used for the meaning.
Lemon juice has real lemon in it but has ADDED artificial flavoring.
Rush hour isnt exactly the time of day where traffic is the slowest where I live. I dont know where you come from, but here it is indeed RUSH hour. It is the point of the day where everybody is rushing home from work or to meet other needs. It is also the busiest time of the day. Doesnt necessarily have to be on the road.
Cats dont eat mice so why would they make a food for them that tastes like something they dont eat?
Sheep dont shrink in the rain for the same reason we dont shrink. They have skin just like we do. Skin doesnt exactly shrink in water.
Those are all the answers I can come up with for now. All people have to do is think outside the box to come up with some simple answers to simply unanswered questions.
