Some British and Irish 'invaded' the North Eastern seaboard of North America. Then there was a rebellion and independent America was founded. You guys 'invaded' the rest of America. Now Mexicans are invading you. What goes round, comes round.

China. Millions of single men without brides. Population pressures building. Militarily a potential equal to the U.S.. They could invade the U.S., but what would happen then? It is unlikely that anyone would ever invade us because either we would wipe them out or the mutual destruction would be awesome and would likely spill into other countries.

It's happening right now but not in the way you think. The NEOCONS are trying to take this country over and are pushing it toward a theocracy under the guise of patriotism. The corrupt Bush administration mentality of "you're either with us or against us" happens to be their mantra, and if indeed you are against them then you are branded as Un-American or a traitor, nothing could be further from the truth.

Its getting invaded daily from across the Mexican border. The only difference is that instead of it being by an armed force, its being accomplished by a bunch of illegal wetbacks.

I highly doubt it. Not unless we give in to Islam and become a nation of extremists and terrorists. Then I'm sure some county would invade us.

Oh, yes. In fact it has already begun. As the gap between the "haves and the have nots" continues to widen both within the US and between countries there will not be a wall high enough or a weapon scary enough to prevent it.
