Which of his music would you recommend that I download?

Carlos Santana is one of the best guitarist alive. I would recommend the album "Santana Jam", it's not well played because most of the songs are over ten minutes long but it is excellent music, "Supernatural" is very good as is "Abraxas" for his early stuff. Actually, anything by Santana is good, enjoy

he did this thing with steven tyler,it was really kewl,i dont remember the name tho........
