and why does a tie look like a lizard or a snake????

Well, I don't think anyone really discovered it. Like most pieces of our clothing they have developed from older ones, in this case the suit.

I think the ties was meant as a covering of the buttons and holes of the mens shirt in a smart suit. It's interesting seeing how this developed over about 500 years or something. I think it's funny how a man is not considered to be smart enough unless he is wearing one!

You can't really discover a tie, it's just a length of material.

no clue who discovered it but i will kill them when i find out- ties are well complicated to tie, i 've never been able to do them-thank god i don;t go to private school!
