True. An American football field is 360 feet long by 160 feet wide or 120 yards by 53.3 yards.

Although I do not have a source, I remember hearing that the NFL football field width is shorter than the college field.

I remember this because a NFL game commentator was explaining why QB option runs are rarely done in the NFL. His answer was two fold: 1) NFL players are faster and 2) the field is not as wide.
