I think a pallet of sod is four feet by four feet and most are stacked four feet high. Each sod piece I have seen at the garden center was about four inches high which meant there were 12 layers. So if my math is right, that would cover 192 square feet. Do not take this as the final answer, call whoever you are buying it from to make sure the measurements are right, but it is probably close. I will check to see what others say since this is an educated guess. If the layers are 2 inches thick than you can double the estimate. Good luck.

they are all different, most sod is cut 18" x 72" in my area anyhow.which calculates out to be 9 square feet , the best way to be sure is ask what size each piece is and multiply it by the number of pieces on the pallet--blanco

There is no simple answer. In Georgia, a palette of fescue covered 504 square feet. In California, it covers only 350 square feet. The only way to really know is to ask the supplier.
