I'm a huge biker/trucker and proud to be 100% AMERICAN. Not much scares me in life but these foreigners scare the **** out of me. I see them as screwed up little sand *******, their religion is far out and the way that they live is messed up. I have no idea how to tell the difference between Muslims and any of the rest of these foreign people.

I am prejudice and am not proud of this fact. The biggest reason that they scare me is because I have no idea what they are like or about... Scared of the unknown and have no wish to be educated.

I grew up in Kent, Ohio and was there for the trouble at the University. What DOES this have to do with the question?

Mindless ignorance wierds it ugly head yet again. Look, whether you know it or not Islam is the second largest religion in the world and well on its way to surpassing Catholicism (the largest). Second, stop associating Muslims with Arabs. Stop paying attention to the media so much and hit the books. In them you will learn that many Arabs are in fact Christian. The largest group of Muslims is in Indonesia. If you are stupid enough not to know where Indonesia is then you are beyond all help. Now, the people behind 9-11 were "extremists" which exist in every religion including good ole Christianity if you don't already know. I'm sure there are some Christians who would want to kill all non-Christians but no one talks about them do they.
Before you bash a religion you might want to check the facts. Islam actually means "peace". Again, learn the word "extremists" because its obvious you don't know the word. If ignorant and stupid people like you are all your high school has to offer then I feel sorry for you.

Do you know why extremist Muslim groups (and not all Muslims) don't like America? Because they are bigots and people who hate those they don't know, because of their reputations.

All Muslims didn't kill our people. Extremist Muslim groups, specifically the Taliban and Al Qaeda, killed our people. Our war is with them, not with all Muslims. As you could see by watching the news about Afghanistan and the voting that happening in Iraq earlier this year (or if you bothered to ever speak to a person who is Muslim here in the US), there are many Muslim people who want to live lives that are more free, and who do not agree with the extreme and bigoted actions of these hateful groups.

Don't lump all Muslims together. Surely if I said all Christians, no matter what denomination, believed the same exact things and acted the same exact ways and had all the same political views I would be incorrect, and the same goes for Muslim people.

I am sorry that you are so uneducated about Islamic people I am sure that if you were to do some more research you would find that there are over 1.5 million Muslims in the United States and 1.2 billion in the world We are the fastest growing religion in the world.

If you were to see a Muslim I am sure that you would not even know that you were speaking to a Muslim. Especially since I am an American born and raised here with blondie hair and green eyes.

Not all Muslims are killing people actually most of us are not. The American government is not at war with Islam they are at war with people who happen to be Muslim. Do not forget that everyday thousands of people die right here in the US killed by Christians.

Its not the people, its the faith.

Theres no sense in hating the people for a belief or else I'd despise all religions in general because of the injustice they do to scrutinize each and every flaw of human life [being gay, suicide, ect].

The muslim people did not fly those planes into "your" twin towers. The faith did, the faith of which they so strongly believed would lead them to Alah (sp?) if they killed the American "non believers".

I know that sounds a little shady but if you think about it, the idea itself was started by a man of the faith who believes that purifying the earth of non believers will bring them to a place with 100 virgins.

[Which is funny because its nearly impossible to find 100 virgins on earth without entering a convent...]

But either way, its fine to have an opinion about them, but please be aware that its not the people of the muslim faith that created the disaster. It was the men behind the attacks who used the faith to manipulate people into doing what they wanted.

Simple....those people who defend Islam, do it because they want americans to die. Read anything by Ward Churchill or Noam Chomsky to find out exactly where they are coming from.

A better question is, what is an appropriate response to this attitude and the behaviors that stem from it.

I think at a minimum these people should be shunned by all elements of our society. No job. No social life. No talking to them...NOTHING. And the behaviors they engage in should be strictly punished. Treason and sedition are supposed to pull 20 year prison sentences. It's high time we started enforcing the law.

the key word here is people...ain't it? look, its human nature..everyone has the right to get mad at everyone but its their actions that differs one to the other.. now having said that..you have just prove that you have that certain qualities as a human being to speak out loud and at risk of being bombarded with some unnecessary answers which in turn might not make you feel any better or serve any fulfilling purposes.
