I have 3 and a fever combined with blisters or a rash may or may not be treatable. Many times, it's viral in which case they can't do much. However, I would call first and describe the situation. Make sure you tell them the sequence in which everything occured and how long she's been running fever. After you talk to someone they can tell you whether you should come in or not.
I personally might take her in since it's the weekend and it seems like it's bothering her. It may not be anything life threatening, but better safe than sorry! Good luck!

You should definitely take her to the doctor, maybe not ER but a pediatrician as soon as you can. I just want to tell you that my daughter had an illness with fever and sores in her mouth and throat that were so painful she couldn't eat for a couple of days. It turned out to be "hoof and mouth" which is a common and not terribly bad disease that kids often get. This is just to say, that it might not be serious, but yes, take her to the doctor if the fever has gone more than a couple of days and seems too high.

I know exactly what that is. Because my baby cousin had that a week ago. I dont know the exact medical term for it but its actually a kind of herpes. The best thing for her is some type of baby Tylenol to bring down the fever and only give her cold things to drink. Don't worry it should only last 2-4 days and she'll be fine after that. By the way the only way to spread it is through mouth.
Good Luck!

Call the doctor. It could be cocksuki (guessed on the spelling) Otherwise known as Hand, foot and mouth disease. Symptoms are fever and/or blisters on hand or/and foot, and or mouth.
It's a viral infection and will just run it's course.
Anyway call doc if she isn't drinking and has a fever you have a chance of dehydration. Ask him about alternating Tylenol and Motrin.

Blisters on her mouth sound awful, does she have chicken-pox? Doctors alternate tylenol with motrin for fevers that won't come down. If you are worried still, take her to the ER. The ER will not be upset with you. It is their job to be there for you. They will be upset with you if the baby worsens and you don't bring her in soon enough to be sure she will be ok.

If she has blisters in her mouth that is not good. It will cause a problem with her eating. I always believe with babies that are sick it is better to be safe than sorry. They can get permanent damage from fevers.

Use your intuition. If you think you should take her, then take her. Its better to be safe than sorry. We've taken our kids to the er a few times, when nothing serious was wrong. Call your childs doctor, and see what they say. If you can't get in touch with them, go on to the er if you feel its necassary, even if it turns out nothing is wrong, you will at least feel better.

It sounds like coxsackie virus, but you should check it out as soon as possible. Going to the ER is always OK if you are worried about your baby-you will feel better and so will she if you get medical attention quickly. Good luck!
