you can babysit, mow yards, do errands around the house. There are all sorts of things to do even if you are just 14 years old.

My son is 14 years old and he works for his Summer Camp. At his age he is to old to be a camper, so I went to talk with the director of the camp and ask if he could work there for the summer as a Camp Counselor just so he wouldn't be idle around the house doing nothing. He gets paid anywhere from 100.00 to 150.00 dollars every two weeks working with children from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Talk with your parents and locate a camp that is in your area and go and talk with the person in charge. Let them know you are willing to work no matter what the pay is. I said that for my son and he got paid CASH $100.00 for a job well done. Don't give up...you'll find something, but make sure that your parents are present with you at all times. If nothing works out this summer don't stop trying, and GOOD LUCK!!

You can get a job since you're 14. You just can only work so many hours because of child labor laws. Some places like clothing stores won't let you work there, but there are some that let you work. The pool I go to hires people 14 and up to run the snackbar, and Baskin Robbins hires people 14 and up. Check around where you live and find out where you can work. If you don't feel like getting a job, just babysit.

Depending on where you live you can also be a waitress/waitor. Many places hire 14yr olds. Babysitting, cleaning houses, running errends for the handicap and elderly is not only earns you money but is rewarding also. Be a life guard at the local pool. Have a car wash! That's always fun. There are many things out there!! One other thing - you can detail cars. People are always needing their cars cleaned out.

Babysit, do yard work, tag sale. Some places will hire you under the table, usually small mom and pop places especially for summer help. I started working at age 14 under the table. The only thing is it isn't really legal.

Learn to make soap. It's not hard, and people will pay good money for a good natural soap. I've been making soap for about four years now, and people like my product so much they will pay in advance and wait two months to get it. You can Google soapmaking and find out all you need to know, and there are tons of soapmaking groups on Yahoo and MSN.

U can try working for someone by cutting their grass or babysitting. I know that that sounds dorkey but that is really all a fourteen year old can do. Help out someone in your neighborhood. They will appreciate it and will most likely pay you for it. Okay!

Babysitting pays great, helping an older/sick person by going to the store or something. Helping to do yard work , I can think of lots of things .Maybe one of your teachers at school would pay you to help them do something. Good Luck
