Part of growth is to be able to look yourself critically, acknowledge your weaknesses and work to be better. Successful civilizations have at their peak encouraged criticism, and open discussion.
When you blindly love a country, you are are hurting it by not not acknowledging your weaknesses, and therefore closing to the door to improving your country.
if you truly love your country, you will admit its faults, and do your bit to make a difference.

Admitting it's faults and loving it anyway! Nothing is perfect but this country is still the best.

I don't think most people pretend blindly our country is perfect. I don't. I love America and would not want to live in any other country even though we have some major warts.
The truth is, nothing is perfect except for my moms homecooking. mmmmmmmmmmm.

i love this country with all the fault it has you have to love it man.and the peoples that say they don't and still living here need to just leave .most of them can't even vote yet .so they don't know what they say
