Jordan scored 30+ points a game in the era of hand checking. Jordan was getting beat up and never getting to the line for his first 8 years in the league. Once he became one of the all-time greats, the game changed, allowing refs to bail him out more and more. Wade hasnt shown anything other than the ability to drive to the basket. As shown in the finals, his game depends on the refs. Shooting 40% from the field doesnt impress me. The NBA finals were a disgrace. It was not basketball, it was a free-throw exhibition. Wade is nowhere near Jordan. Play basketball like it is meant to be played, and then you will see who the real talented players are.

This has nothing to do with Shaq, this is about wade and jordan, and Wade shot 48% in the playoffs so shut it about bad shooting. I still support Jordan though, even though Wade is more of a team player, although he does have a team. I pick jordan becuae he averaged 28.2 as a rookie, thats an incredible stat. He also got 63 against the celtics. Which was his 2nd highest only to his 69. He got that agaisnt the CELTICS. Thats bird, mchale, and parish, one of the best backcourts ever. They even had Dj who was a great defender and he tore then all up. I take Jordan becuase he had so much raw athleticism that it didnt matter. Oh and let me remind you that when Jordan was young he was never a good shooter. In his rookie season, in the playoffs, in 4 games, jordan took 48 foul shots. 12 a game. jordan, harder era, harder teams, better player.

Today's D-Wade is more of a leader than Jordan after three years...but after 5-6 years I'd definitely take Jordan over Wade

Jordan. Wade is great (you can also throw in Kobe and Lebron) - but we know what Jordan did in his career - end up as the greatest of all time. Wade may end up with a terrific career - but theres a lot of years of basketball before we will know the answer to that q - We already know the answer to Jordan's career.

Michael Jordan any day of the week and two times on Sunday. Jordan turned right into a lot extra of a crew participant than Kobe is. And, Jordan has shown that he can carry his crew to a championship, even as Kobe has not.

Wade is an awesome player but I'd still choose Jordan. He basically won his first championship without the help of some other dominant player like Shaq.
