I'm not a health professional and don't pretend to be, however, I think that I can recommend one of those hot drink preparations like NeoCitran. It doesn't have to be THAT brand but anything like that will help. The cold sores are because your body is run down. They will resolve themselves if you look after the other issues. You just need to read the box when choosing the correct one. I also recommend that you go to a doctor just to rule out that it isn't something more serious.

means you are coming down with a flu...take lots of fluid and rest. go to your nearest drug store and ask the pharmacist. Gurgle with Listerine as often as you can ...take some zinc lozenges, Tylenol or Advil and some cold/cough syrup with DM. There are wide variety of cold sore application that are effective..Abreva or Intercept...quite pricy about $20

If you have a fever then you have the flu. Since you have chills and body aches chances are you have a fever. Get some thera-flu and go to the doctor.

to me it sounds glandular, or possibly an std (sexually transmitted disease).
it's the lack of nasal congestion that makes me think it could be serious. consider seeing your doctor.
