Ralph would have made a good President but Americans are not ready for a good president until after they get rid of the fantasy that a rich man, an actor or a general is what really a President is all about. If Ralph were President you wouldn't be worrying about Israel right now, you would be wondering what to do with all the extra money you saved from heating your home and running your car. But hey, somebody has to pay for all those bombs and jet warplanes they use to bomb Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Lebanon.

Nader is not honest. He claims to represent the consumer, but a claim doesn't make the claim true. His book "unsafe at any speed" is full of the classic liberal lies and distortions. One example is that he states that GM was "obsessed with making a car with a soft ride." The truth is that consumers prefer a soft ride. Another lie he said that the corvair was completely unsafe, which was shown to be false before his book was published. The treatment he got from GM after the book was published wasn't very nice, but that doesn't mean he is an honest man! Like most liberals, he uses exaggeration and distortions because his religion is too important to him to let peons like us make up our own minds.

While I agree with many of Ralph Nader's positions, he personally appears to me to be an egotistic and annoying person. (Yes, Bush is worse, but that's another story.) More importantly, a vote for him would basically have been a vote for Bush because Rader could never have won. And if ever he did win, he could have accomplished nothing because Congress would have been opposed to everything he did.

He was a shill.
regardless of his platform, regardless of thier goal, they only served as a spoiler and tool of the very political powers they were a responce to.
I say this because.
Nadar only shows up for presidential elections, rather than build a real base running canidates on local and state levels.
He isn't there creating a real alternative to the current system during those inbetween years.
How many Green candiates run in every election in every state for every position...that is why is not real.
He only shows up for presidential elections as a shill, for the right wing.

in case you want someone to take up Nader's perspectives, get Al Gore to run for president. He changed into an awesome Senator and between the most lively Vice-Presidents in U.S. heritage. His 2000 bid for authorities confirmed that the yank human beings may choose him. He, compared to Nader's eco-friendly celebration, has stances on extra themes than merely international warming and conservationism. particular, lets impeach Bush, yet which couldn't make the rustic any extra acceptable, highly with Cheney as president. An impeachment may extra slanderize our popularity and integrity in international politics.

I would have, but the stakes were too high last election. We needed to get rid of Bush and voting Kerry was the only choice. Next time though, I'll be happy to throw away my vote.

I'm sorry--Ralph who???? Nadar? Who is he? Who was he? Do I recall seeing ads for him on tv? Did anybody really talk about him? Did anybody in my workplace or in my circle of friends/acquaintances even talk about him? Was he on tv? Was he ever on the cover of a newspaper or magazine? Why did I not see him on CNN?
I think I just answered your question, and I am sure most people in America have a similar answer.

I voted for Kerry because I am liberal and a vote for Nadar would be a vote for Bush since very few support him. I think it was very selfish for him to have run if he didn't Kerry might have won and we wouldn't have to deal with Bush.

I voted for George Bush and am very happy with my decision. Ralph Nader is a kook. I think his lazy eye scares people. I know my dog was afraid of him.
