Torturing civilians after we won a war has spread cracks in NATO and has smashed any respect young people feel for their government.

I'd rank "W" in 43rd place as US President.

The things he's done wrong will haunt the country for decades after his death -- a catastrophe of a President.

Actions? A real leader has integrity. That means you say what you mean. You don't ask somebody to do something that you wouldn't do yourself. Do you think that President Bush would be willing to sacrifice his life in Iraq for "freedom"? He didn't even bother to help out the victims from hurricane Katrina. Apparently President Bush doesn't know the meaning of leading by example. I would like to see somebody run for President who works their way to the top starting from the bottom of society. That is the only kind of person who knows what it is like to struggle.

Which step are we talking about? So far most agree he has been the worst president in the history of the US ....would be great to see him make some strides in the right direction...he's really out of time to undo all the bad he has done and I really havent noticed him atempting such a feat but I'm all for it should he give it an attempt.

I think President Clinton and President Bush said it best when they agreed that ALL Presidents are trying their best to help the country, they just disagree on how.

Following our Constitution and other founding documents will help, and free speech and the web will help keep us informed. I'm a Democrat and voting for the most Patriotic one I can find. But I respect President Bush and see through most of the nonsense the lunatic fringe has had to say, just as I did when they were being disrespectful to President Clinton (save his personal life, of course).

We have taken so many steps backward, I cannot see him coming out of this. The sad thing for all of us, whether Democrat or Republican, is that his reputation is that of a person who does not deliver himself as being confident. We need someone like Joe Biden of Delaware, who is strong on foreign policy and has been in the senate for 30 years. Please go on line and read about him. If you are a person of another party, look at John McCain. In both cases, both project intelligence and knowledge.

Bush is a distraction. He's a front man. Look at his career....that's all he's ever been! The "guy you'd have a beer with" while people like Cheney and Rumsfeld are working behind the scenes to rape and plunder the nation's wealth.

well he's taken so many steps in the the wrong direction, I think it will take more than one to step to go in the right direction. Our country is in serious trouble internally and also in our place in the world community.......He is the first American president that most of the world despises........yes...that's rght.........it's scary that we, as a country have fallen so much in the eyes of the world.

Cheney is actually running this country, bush is to dumb to come up with any type of policy,Cheney's stock in haliburton (his former company) has risen over 2,000 percent, with haliburton receiving all the (no bid) rebuilding contracts in Iraq, construction of an oil pipe line in Afghanistan and Katrina was just another haliburton windfall. goody goody more contracts to rebuild new Orleans!

No. His war in Iraq is the biggest foreign policy mistake since Vietnam. Hands down.
