I would have liked Brasil to have won. I personally think they did the best during the competition. Germany also did really well. These two teams won all the games in the first round and did so somewhat convincingly. However both Italy and France(France in particular) played like crap! France just managed to get lucky. I think the team deserving the world cup should be outstanding in every aspect, on the field and off! Not a bunch of criminals(Italy) or overaged grandpas.
Guess it really goes to show its all about luck and chance to a certain extent and not actual excellence and true talent on the field.

Argentina should have won! The cool thing is that in 2010 our team will be just as brilliant, since all our young stars (Messi, Tevez, Rodriguez, etc.) should be fit and ready to bring the Cup home again, after 24 long years of disappointment.

I believe that whoever wins the world cup final tommorow deserves it. Both France and Italy have excellent soccer players. Italy has Toni, Zambrotta, Del Piero, and the best goalie in the world Buffon; while France has Ribery, Henry, Barthez, and The Great Zidane ( in my opinion, the best soccer player in the world).

Both deserve to be in the finals. They successfully qualified out of their preliminary groups, and defeated tough teams in the elimination rounds to get to where they are.
I'm cheering for Italy.

lol so biased..i found portugal and brazil to both be terrible...i think the netherlands or argentina would have deserved to get into the finals along with italy. i'am an australian fan and it sucks to say italy deserved it, but they did after the way they played against germany.

Brazil! They have the best player in the world (Ronaldinho), Ronaldo, and a whole squad of talented players...it's just a shame that they didn't have a great coach--if so, they would've won.
