I think the good outweighs the bad. U do somethin bad cool whatever, but you do somethin good the bad has been made up for. Karma. Hope this helps. P.S. this is just what I think.

Anyone can be driven to murder, if the provocation is severe enough. This is why most states recognize self-defense as a valid defense in homicide cases. Assuming, therefore, that this act of murder on your part isn't part of a pattern (i.e. that you aren't a true criminal), then I think that yes, good deeds can compensate. If after the murder you went on to become an EMT and saved lots of people's lives, I think this would matter very much not only to the people whose lives had been saved but also to the universe. Love always matters, and it always makes a difference.
