That is not a fair question. Each person should be judged individually. All teenagers are not looking for sex or drugs. Some want to have a clean fun. It also does not matter what the geographic location is. Some teens act the way they were raised and they are good kids. They have respect for themselves and others. My child is a leader. She is not a follower. I trusted her and she is now 18 and off to college. She joined church at 15 and decided that certain things are going to wait because she wants to live the way her mother thinks is right. I am so proud of her. I know there are other children like her that is not thinking about getting freaked. Oh yeah. Whatever will happen when the parents are away will happen when they are there.

When the parents are gone it is the #1 place to find copious amounts of alcohol (usually beer) and marijuana. When parents are present, it just depends on the parents. I went to a few parties in Millbrook when I went to high school at Auburn High.

My living house became finished of youth boys virtually each and every weekend for 8 years. yet, no alcohol became allowed. Why did they keep coming? All were exceptionally intelligient, were raised to be person-pleasant and lawabiding and that i made our living house interesting for them. Allowed them to take over our large kitchen table (10 boys ought to sit down down at it) for board video games, magic card video games, and so on. let them apply 15 x 18 the front room to community all their computers for gameplaying. I let them stay unsleeping all nighttime with their video games. inspired them of their learning pursuit of Medieval historic previous and their involvement with the Society for Creatvie Anachronism. I took them to videos, museums, libraries, the sea, the mountains, particular activities. No, i did not pay for each little thing. the lads may carry money and foodstuff with them. I even went to Washington DC as a chaperone for 8 of those boys and we had an truly good time. they'd tried to furnish me a set of girls, in spite of the indisputable fact that the lads all requested for me. (plus many eighth grade females are into too a lot pop lifestyle stuff so i did not pick them) Out of one hundred scholars in this holiday, my crew and yet another were the only ones to settle on to bypass to the Ford theater and the FBI construction. (the females all had to detect a buying mall - imagine that!) properly, those boys are adults now and nevertheless no longer into ingesting or drugs. the different ingredient I did became study newspaper articles to my toddlers from time they all started college - the injuries the position inebriated drivers led to someone to die - and we had many discussions. an similar is going for the community nighttime information. yet another help became that contributors of my youngster's father's kin were always stepping into difficulty even as ingesting and some even died from liver cirrhosis. My toddlers realized properly.

It really does depend on the age and social group that teenager belongs too. being that they are minors, they shouldnt be left unattended and it is actually illegal for a parent to allow minors to drink. Be responsible parents, ask questions, know where they are going to be,know the parents, and keep them to their curfews. Our kids are not as grown up as they like to think they are.
