I wouldn't even begin to guess without knowing what kind of pain it is. Is it a sharp pain? Does it only hurt when you move a certain way?
Anyway, try taking some Advil or Aleve. If it doesn't start to improve within 2 or 3 days, go see a doctor.

Hmmm...have you done any heavy lifting lately? Did you overexert yourself? How long have you had this pain? Did you have this pain on the job, or at home? My best advice to you, sweetie, is take a trip to the dotor so he or she can rule out any genitourinary problems. Then your doc can send you to a specialist for further testing. Until you get there, take some Aleve and sleep on your right side with a pillow tucked in between your knees. Also, try alternating heat and cold on your back and those ThermaCare patches until you get to the doctor. Hope you feel better soon!
