Not really sure what you are asking, but here goes. Every relationship is a two way street. It sounds to me like he has a woman on a string, doing whatever he wants and letting you hang it out there. If he comes and goes, ask yourself where is he going to? You love this man, but you seem to be miles away and are you sure how he feels? You seem to be a distant convenience to him from what you have written. Ask yourself if there is any way you could possible get together. If not, what kind of love can you have from miles away? Love is being together and touching and holding hands and cuddling, not just talking on the phone or emailing. I don't really understand what he is up to, but it sounds like he is treating you like a friend instead of a lover.

You didn't say how he feels about you. Assuming he's got feelings for you also, what you need to do is discuss this with him. Some people simply aren't initiators, so it may be that he just needs to be prompted to communicate, not that he doesn't care...but I can understand why you may wonder if his feelings are as strong as yours, if he's never the one to appear to want to hear from you...you always have to start things...

Let him know you'd appreciate it if he called or emailed or wrote first now and then...that you don't want to feel like you're chasing him, or things are one-sided...if you're going to eventually have any kind of relationship, you have to be able to communicate...might as well start now...

good luck!

Bearing the burden of communication in a relationship can't take a lot of the fun out of it and more often than not nowadays, it does fall on the woman to do these things. The best thing you can do is talk with him about how you feel. Not easy, but it really works.

Dear guy I love, I wanted to let you know I love you and I wish you the best for life and I will be there for you always as a friend since us two can't be together due to you being in a gang and with those commitment issues and all. Love, me

Men dont know what we women are thinking, so instead of beating around the bush, be direct with him and tell him how you feel. You be the first to make that move, cause if you wait, you dont know what will happen.

sometimes guys are lazy about contacting any one.if you want to motivate him to start being the man and making the calls ect.you got to exite him or shake him up.email him some sexy pics..talk dirty, tease.get him foaming at the mouth then back off.if he thinks he might lose you i promise he will change his ways..good luck.

Why should you be the one calling, emailing, ect. If was any kind of man he would be doing the calling and stuff. May be he dose not like you like you like him.

You got very good advice from baby luv. Talk to him about it. That is the only way to solve your issues. If he is not willing to meet you half way, then maybe it is time to move on.
