Thats a great question!
I think we "Sit Up" at night because we Normally Lie Down at night, but this is usually if we are still up a lot later than normal.

Speak for yourself... wish I had your easy lifestyle! But to answer your question, lazy people sit down during the day because they should be up and about. And nightowls sit up at night because they should be lying down.

In the day we're "up" most of the time so when we sit, we sit "down", and at night we're mostly lying "down", so if we sit it tends to be "up"...

I don't bloody "SIT DOWN" all day, I run around like a blue-arsed fly trying to get all my work done on time! lol
