a lot of good answers are here already (e.g. take meds, stay out of trouble, etc.)

If you're really anxious I would go buy a book on learning meditation and truly try to learn how to keep calm that way. Also, for good laugh you should probably go rent a movie called "What about Bob?" starring Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss. It's hilarious and has a lot to do with what you're asking. Besides, there's little chance that you could be as bad as Bob.

Good luck.

I am truly sorry that your Dr. has left you all alone. Do you have a family you can communicate with? Or ma-by a close grope of Friends would help until your Dr. returns. There are help lines listed in the phone book that will assist you when things get too much to handle, you could try your Minister or Deacon in your Church. If not try asking again a question and I will keep an e-ye out for it...God Bless

Deal with it, I have a feeling that you have an anxiety disorder, or something related to it. But, if you can go two weeks without your "shrink" then you will be stronger for it.

What do you need a shrink for?

Maybe it is a sign that you are ready to handle things on your own??
