Make the 20g as a master, and switch your 120g to slave mode.

If the drives are SATA, just put the new drive in, format it and install XP and then reformat the second drive. If the drives are not SATA, you'll have to set up the 20GB drive as the master drive to make it the C: drive usually. Then install XP on it and reformat the 20GB drive, which should show us as D:. Once XP is installed on the new drive you can format the old one by going to My Computer, right-clicking on it and selecting Format.

The new drive should have instructions for how to install the hardware. It's pretty easy. You generally just slide it into an empty drive bay and attach the ribbon and power connectors.

you have to plug the one for the os in as the master and the other as the slave, then the one to run windows will be drive C:, and the other will be E: or F:

This can be done with the cable which has a master and slave plug on it and it can be done with the jumpers on the unit, or in the setup app in DOS.

Start the computer with the install cd in the drive and install windows from the cd, if your computer doesnt have a hardware plug and play system it gets more complicated and you need flopies to get it to read the cd.

Windows can only be installed on a Master or C: drive so you might need to run DOS for the instalation from a blank drive.
