I think you should love your sister regardless of her preference. Sometimes girls go through these times and it does not mean that she will stay liking just girls. She is still young and young people tastes and attitudes change all the time. I remember growing up, I only wanted to play with my gender and eventually by the age of 16, I was interested in the other gender. It is a natural process but if it extends into her adult life, then you have to realize that she may be a lesbian.

im really glad that u are so worried and concenred for ur sister its good.
well, it depends what u mean by "like". does she just happen to like a girl just as a friend and take interest in her interests? if so they could be just very good friends, people have best friends who they enjoy alot. But if she really says she "loves" girls and that she gets giddy over them or something well i think that's kinda of a problem. That probably means she is a les. Try talking to her if that bothers u.
About telling her friends and family, theres no better way than letting out her TRUE feelings. Close friends and family will always understand.

I don't want to jump into conclusion that she is indeed a lesbian..
Coz I myself liked more girls than guys when I was young.. I think I was also the same age as your sister.. But that's only because all the guys I knew then were jerks!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I'm 20 yrs old and 100% woman!! hehe! ^_^
Maybe it's just the same with your sister.. maybe guys pissess her off so she prefers to be with girls rather than with the boys...

Awww you are a good brother. She is suppose to have girl FRIENDS. Not girlfriends.. ONLY she can know if she is lesbian. And if she is, you can`t DO anything. Just be her brother and love her and be there for her. She is so young that she has plenty of time to find out how she feels.. None of this is an immediate problem.

she is obviously a lesbian but she she doesn't have to go around telling everyone. if she feels like every telling someone her intrests it should be when she is out of college and a bit older because going around and telling people that could ruin her social life and her self-esteem because of the way that they may treat her. it is ok for guys to hang out with gay guys even if they are straight but girls don't like lesbians and tend to run away from them like they are a viruse or something. you should stay out of this and comfort her and accept her for who she is as a lesbian. if this is a real question which i'm a little skeptical because of the spelling and grammar mistakes but if it is true then you should follow my advise.

if she is a lesbian then its not that big of a problem. the family should definately know 'cause the shock will be greater later in life...its better to know then live your life in denial. i think its just she is taking her time with the guys issue. you shoudlnt rush her just so she seems normal. her friends shouldnt know though, they might leave her because many kids today are very mean about stuff like taht.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, or cause her to worry about it either. When I was this age I was closer to my girlfriends too. Let her have fun in these years and don't worry about it, some girls bloom later than others.

The best thing that you can do for your sister is be there for her and support and love her, gay or straight. Check out local gay and lesbian centers or pflag for support.
