Time is catching up with Ronaldo that is why he is getting fat and slower but he can still score that is why he set the most number of goals at 15 in all World Cups. He is a great player better than Pele and other other stars because he is the record hold of 15 goals.

I could'nt understand what the so called Football Experts were going on about saying that Ronaldo looked Fat, Disinterested, Would'nt look for the ball, Wouldn't sprint and was a yard slower.
IF they had known anything about Football they would have known that Ronaldo has been playing that way for the last 5 years at Real Madrid.
But supply Ronaldo with the ball in or around the penalty area and he will either score a goal or set up a chance for another member of his team.
You cannot knock his goalscoring record at Club, International or Major Championship level.
He is and will be one of Football's All Time great strikers.
And by scoring his 15th World Cup Finals Goal his name will go down in History for evermore

NO , RONALDO IS AN AWESOME PLAYER
HE IS NOT FAT AND NOT GETTIN OLD HE STILL HAVE MANY YRS LEFT IN HIM , I.M.O HE IS DA BEST PLAYER IN BRAZIL ALONG WIZ RONALDINO (however the name is written ) .
Just maybe Ronaldo should take some time off to lose some weight ( to make all these ppl shut their mouth up about him being fat) and after that he come back cuz he is a great player.

Yeah he has found a new sport to excell at! DIVING!!! Just like Christiano Ronaldo. Did you see him dive again today against Germany!!! What a disgrace!!! No class and as far as i can see not a good player either. Ronaldo from brazil was at one time a good player. Fat Boy still managed to score but it is his last world cup.

He's getting older but it does not mean he is getting bad. A lot of people say he's getting fat, actually his body is tacking shape of a "man's" body. When he started playing he was still a teenager. No one (out of Brasil)watches him between the 4 years when the world cup is not on so they don't see the change untill it's obvious. I don't think he's fat I just think he's getting older and with his knee problem yes it seems like he's loosing his skills.

He is not fat, people will say that about him because the announcers said that, he looked sluggish his first game this world cup but then after seemed almost like his old self. I don't think he is getting too old to play soccer. I personally like him even though I play defense. I like his free spirit that he has in his game

No, I don't think he's old or fat. I sure hope he comes back in 2010. I loved watching him play but more than anything I loved his smile.
