What did he say? Tell him that it makes u uncomfortable that he is emailing her and tell him that if he wants this relationship to work he needs to worry about you not be emailing his ex. Does he still have feelings for her? What was the email about? r u reading more into it then u should?

keep a level head and slowly solve it slowly. Don't ask him anything about the email but get much attached to him and later tell him that you love him and don't want to see anything going wrong indirectly he will understand and stop it

depending on what the e-mails were, i wouldn't think anything of it....any mention of material hinting at a get-back-together outing and i'd start asking questions

joke around with him about it that way you get the answer without starting an arguement and potentially ruining ur relationship.
