Husband hates camping, my daughters work a lot of weekends and have their own lives.

Get involved in other outdoor activities like geocaching or girl scouts.
Girl scouts always need adult volunteers...especially ones that camp. As for geocaching, a lot of women geocache and are always looking for others to head out in the woods with. Camping would add to that fun and ya never know, you might make some really great friends!

I suggest that you bring up camping in conversations, and see who seems interested in continuing, and talking about it. Also, it might help to live in a very outdoors-oriented city, where many camp-happy people live. Boulder, CO would be a good place to start.

Are you serious? I thought everybody but primps liked to camp. You don't even have a man in your life who likes camping? My goodness, what's the world coming to? Where do you live?
