I proposed this girl and she told me she does not think it could happen between us, because of the cultural conflict. we r both from the same country though, but different cast. I loved her and love her from last 8 years (since my high school). I was so hurt after hearing what she told me, so I let it go and decided to live with it. I kept my mouth shut and avoid the whole thing. After few weeks she told my best friend If I still want to marry her? she is OK with it, but then again I am gonna have to talk to her family (she is asking me to ask for her hand.) I am so freaking lost. One question that always bugs me. Is she really in love with me or? and many more. can u hep me out here please.

If she wants you to ask for her hand in marriage then she loves you. She was probably concerned about the "different" casts thing and probably talked to someone about it to see their point of view or simply wants to overcome it.

from the sounds of it i think she likes you. maybe she wasn't ready when you frist asked her. and know that she nows that she might loss the best thing she has in her life. she could be ready know.. Go for it and ask again. and if she says no.. then just dont give up contuine you with the relationship and see where it goes...
