I would describe myself exactly the same. For me its Powder foundation from Clinique (Maybelle also has a good one) And natural eye shadows and blushes, a little more dramatic if I'm going out. A little eyeliner and mascara. I wear charcoal color eyeliner and mascara. Hope that helps. Good luck

No one can pick your foundation color from just a description, but you're probably in the Ivory/Bisque area. But you need to get someone from a cosmetics department to show you how to pick the right one for you. Anything else is going to get expensive.
I agree that the powder foundations are wonderful. I use both Maybelline and Neutrogena (which is my favorite by far). For liquid foundations, you might find Lancome is an excellent quality at a reasonable price. Also, Lancome's color selection for eyes and lips is really better than most.
Also check out Revlon's cream eye shadows. I love them because of their staying power. Sometimes, for a big night out, I'll use that as a base, then put the powder shadow over top. It's a great effect.
I'm not sure what the under tone to your skin is, but check out coral and salmon shades for your cheeks and your lips, and maybe some soft coral and a medium purple for your eyes. Keep your liner in the brown family (black would overpower your features) and maybe a brown mascara.

I say if you have a Sephora store near you, go there and get a complimentary consultation you can play and experiment with tons of colors, brands and types including Bare Minerals!!!! This way you can try for yourself and not just rely on a recommendation. What we recommend may not work for you. What is your skin type? Remember this if nothing else: If you have oily skin you need a water based foundation if you have dry skin you need an oil based foundation

I use Bare Minerals, but it is kind of expensive. I like it the best because it covers blemishes very well, and is light. I am a redhead with green eyes and very fair skin. If you can locate a store in your town that sells it, go in without makeup and they will let you try it to see if you like it.

yeah, that's all my natural coloring as well. i've found that maybelline's dream mousse foundation covers blemishes VERY well. colorwise, earth tones will look good around your eyes - browns, tans, reddish colors - and for a more interesting look, go with either yellow (most green eyes have yellow or golden flecks) or a pretty mauve colored eyeshadow. keep blush lowkey, and try nyc's lipgloss in "jenn" or revelon's lipstick "rosewood".

I believe it is Almay who came up with coordinating colors for skin and eyes. (local drugstores)
Using a lot of make up will not help the acne. I would attend to that first. Despite what is seen in magazines and movies, make up should enhance your natural beauty, not cover anything up. Keep it light and fresh.

earthtones...browns and greens would look good. you could also experiment with metallic colors (gold, bronze, silver and copper).
as for brands, that's an individual decision...it depends on how much you want to spend, where you want to shop, what your skin needs are and how the make up itself reacts with your body's chemistry.
good luck

since your eyes are green, dont go with bold colors, your eyes are bold enough, go with soft colors, like brown-ish or even a light pink, try not to get glittery stuff....black mascara would be good, and a light bronzer, or even a blush, peachy or golden color
