I'm a little curious why the Portuguese fans keep talking about him like he matters. If they were true football fans then why aren't they talking about their real stars like Maniche or Ricardo. I don't think I've even heard a discussion about Maniche yet and he scored 2 goals. It's these lame little girls who want to know who else thinks C.Ronaldo is cute. Like appearance has anything to do with football. And yes, we all know that Ronaldo is a diver and a faker. And yes we all know that other people do it as well just not to the extent that he does. So to sum it up....
Is Ronaldo a talented player? Yes, but not talented enough to score a goal.
Does he dive too much. Yes, and if he had the so called talent then he wouldn't have to.
Is he cute? Who the hell cares! None of you stand a chance with him anyway.

He is fed up. Ronaldo just said in an interview to the Portuguese television that he is leaving Manchester United because - even tough he loves the club - he feels he can no longer play in a nation that hates him.
I can imagine many English are delighted to see this but, in the long run, it's their loss. He is one of the best young players in the World and he will be one of the best in the future. but they will have too watch his moves on TV, playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona. And the Portuguese squad, of course!

As for Ronaldo, people will forget, but this tournament comes around only a handful of times in a persons life, let people get the most out of every facet of it.

i am not because i disagree with some things people state here, like the fact that ronaldo was diving during the match with holland...i mean, come on, get serious! if he would have been faking it, he could have staid on the field for the rest of the match!! but he didnt!!! and yeah he does dive sometimes, and so what? many other players do it too!! but he did not dive in the match with holland. they just wanted to hurt him because he*s really good! AND EVERYONE ELSE IS JUST JEALOUS !!!

C. Ronaldo *is* a great footballer . . . but he makes a fool of himself with the diving. And no, the answer isn't "everyone does it" . . . the answer should be "he ought to stop it, and he would be much more respected for his skills".

During the Germany match today, he actually began looking at the ref IN THE MIDDLE of one of his dives. They showed it in slow motion a few times over here in the U.S. and he looked PATHETIC!
