First, why would you swallow a tumor? That seems pretty unlikely to me.

But the answer is no. Cancer is caused by cells mutating in the body in such a manner that they are not recognized as a harmful entity, and so the body continues to give them materials to multiply. Our bodies have cancerous cells on a regular basis - only the ones that our bodies immune system doesn't recognize and destory are those that become cancer. If you swallowed someone elses tumor (for some inexplicable and very odd reason) your body defenses would immediately recognize it as a foreign body and destroy it, or your stomach would digest it and destroy it. That is why heart, kidney, and other transplants are hard, and why a good match needs to be found. The foreign organ needs to be as similar to the persons as possible so the body won't destory it. People also take certain medications after a surgery to help slow down the immune system so that their new organ will stay intact.
If you have swallowed someone's tumor (sorry, give me a moment to get the heebee jeebees and hiblee jiblees out of my system, and for the dry heaves to stop) you'll be okay, if not but really grossed out and psychologically scarred.

first of all swallowing a tumor is a disgusting thought to have. but lets go about this like its a piece of meat. are you chewing it or just swallowing? if just swallowing, it starts in the mouth, then goes to the esophagus, then down through the pyloric valve and into the stomach which is full of acid, which aides in killing off bacteria that we consume, from there it travels through your intestines, if your to just swallow it then there would be nothing for the intestines to reabsorb such as when they reabsorb nutrients and place them back into the body. it would continue through the intestines and go into the colon where it would be broken down into waste, and eventually work its way out your anus.

Likely not. However, it WOULD put you in the same category as some people I have seen locked up for mental instability....assuming the tumor was from a human. Other animals and plants also have tumors too. You may well have already eaten one, and didn't know it!

It all depends, are you planning on cooking it or just going at it raw?
If you grill it well done you should be fine. But if you eat it raw you may have some problems. You see, if you cook it well the cancer cells will not survive, thus posing no threat. So in conclusion, grill that baby up, add some Sonny's sweet sauce and wash it down with a cold one. Cheers!
