My computer is fussy, it works fine, but my battery turns off and on when it wants. And it's brand new. ahh, im so fed up.

Well, It's plugged in, but it's really being stupid. it powers my computer when it's sitting not being messed with then when i want to get on, it's not powering my computer. EVERYTHING IS PLUGGED IN.

You said everything is plugged in? Did you take the battery out of the laptop? Does the laptop work without the battery in? If it doesn't, i would take the unit back. The a/c adapter is also a charger for the battery. If the unit doesn't work while the a/c adapter is plugged in by itself with NO battery in then I would guess that the a/c adapter is NO GOOD! That would mean that the battery will not charge either. The first time that you charge the battery it may take many hours. Infantile failures are common in computers, I was told a long time ago, if it doesn't fail within the first 30 days, it probably won't.

lol thats funny just go to power settings and if u are kinda techno friendly (know ur comp) u should be able to tell if somethings wrong but by default change the sleep settinga and be sure that it doesnt have a tiimer to turn on i kno my esktop does but i set that up

Lol! The other replies sound good. I reccomend to bring it in somewhere to have a checkup on it.
