I am still wondering if I had a lucid dream last night. I remember waking during the night and saying I want to have a lucid dream, going to sleep, and then realizing without any signs I am lucid. After looking around a little, I opened my eyes, and then entering someplace, I think I was opening my dream eyes, and then entering reality in my bedroom. Actually, I am not even sure if I entered my bedroom. Is this a real lucid dream or was I just dream about having a lucid dream?

I'm stiiiillllllll listening to that piggy site wondering what aliens have to do with lucid dreams- oh well maybe I'll find out lol.

I believe that you had a lucid dream. A lucid dream is simply knowing you're in a dream while you are dreaming.

I don't believe in out of body experiences, but that doesn't mean it's not possible. Many people think it's impossible to have lucid dreams and/or to control them although many others along with myself do it quite often if not all the time. My point is that you should check into OOBE's too.

If you're interested in lucid dreaming, I can offer a bit of advice:

1. Get used to doing reality checks-really ask your self if what around you is reality.

2. Work with your subconscious by telling yourself ( you pretty much did this) that you will have a lucid dream.

3. It's easiest to have a lucid dream after you have slept for about 5 hours then gone back to bed after being up for about 15-20 mins.

4. Relax. Most people don't achieve lucidity when they are stressed.

Check into ld4all.com (I tell everyone this). It's a great site. Good luck.

A lucid dream is a lucid dream. But I think you were dreaming of a lucid dream. Sounds weird to me.
