Go on the internet and see if you can find out how many machine guns france produces in a given month/year and how many they sell and to whom.
Look to the economics of the troubles - Not racial, political or having to do with their culture.
The thing is that people in France may, and probably do, (in fact I know they do) say similiar things about the USA.
The people saying these kinds of things both ways, probably do not understand the economics in back of the political or racist opinions they hold.
It is up to you whether you want to be involved in peace or unrest. The answers are available for either.

Jaques Chirac and people like him....France is sort of like New Jersey...they put people in power that suck and then **** their pants when things go wrong....only difference is Jersey is more democratic....
